Finding good and affordable accommodation in Visby is not so easy. We therefore strongly advise you to reserve and book your accommodation prior to your arrival. The rule ‘the sooner you start searching, the better’ applies. Check this site often, since it´s regularly updated. Most of the rentals in Visby range between 3000 – 3500 SEK/month. We urge you to read the ads carefully. Linen (sheets, blankets, towels etc) are usually not provided for. Utilities, household goods and kitchenware might be included in the price. Also note that it is very important to receive a written contract from the landlord upon arrival. We strongly suggest you to also become a member of Hyresgästföreningen (read here how to become a member). They help you if you have any problems with your landlord.
